Silvestre Leaves For Arsenal

That's right, Silves has signed for Arsenal. It comes as abit of a surprise to me since the tops clubs usually do no sell to domestic rivals, unless you're Spurs....and even they have started to regard themselves as a top club.

I'm surprised Fergie let Silves go to another rival, especially one with as bad a history as Wenger. He must either think very little of Silves or very little of the current Arsenal squad. One thing's for sure, the majority of the United fans must be cheering wildly.

As for me, I'd just like to thank Silvestre for 9 years of good, honest work done in a red jersey, although it doesn't always bring back good memories.

Shame he's leaving us after so long. He's had a rough ride and just when he's has been coming into his own the last few years, we decide that he's surplus to requirements.

@harris

We'd miss him. Still would've rather he gone somewhere else.

If anything, him moving to Arse would at least go somewhere in settling the debate of which is the better manager, Wenger or Fergie. He could very well have a stellar year under someone who uses him correctly.

@Jiahao

Yah he scored both in a 2-1 victory. I remember that game pretty well. It was a bloody Monday night game and I ended up in the middle of the night at some coffeeshop in Holland Village. Can't really remember who scored for Liverpool that night...it was an own goal by either Neville or John O'Shea.
